With the unveiling of the third-generation Mini Cooper, speculation has already begun regarding what future body styles will come to fruition. As with the outgoing model, there’s the convertible, coupe and roadster. Some even count the Clubman. Still, three variants alone are quite significant for a car that’s really nothing more than an overpriced BMW three-door hatch. And now rendering artist Theophilus Chin has come up with a proposed design for what a new Mini Cooper Coupe could look like.
Starting off with the standard hatch, the current coupe’s oddly shaped backwards hat roof was applied. It also appears that the wheelbase was shortened up a bit too. So, does this Cooper Coupe’s design still work with the new model, or should Mini drop the coupe altogether?
