DMC Tunes the Ferrari
The Dusseldorf-based tuners have developed an extensive tuning program for the Ferrari California, wrapping it in silver carbon-fiber and naming it the Surfista Silver Star. Down force has been improved on the front axle via the silver carbon-fiber splitter, while upforce on the rear axle has been minimized via a silver carbon-fiber rear diffuser. The aerodynamic package and new look is completed by a new apron, again in silver carbon-fiber, and ADV1 21- and 22-inch alloys. Power is up to 606hp from 460hp and the four-seater now reaches a top speed of 202mph, and sprints from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. This improvement was achieved by modifying the engine with a turbo-loader in conjunction with physically enlarged injection nozzles and a custom-made crankshaft. A new stainless steel exhaust system supports the enhanced power plant.
