Car and General now in Zanzibar

Car and General distributes mariner outboard engines, TVS and Suzuki motorcycles, Briggs and Stratton generators, Ingersoll Rand compressors, Cummins generators, water pumps, lawnmowers, pressure washers and Piaggio three wheelers.
The firm which handles low cost volume items and high value generators and diesel engines set up its first shop in Tanzania in 1960. With the recent increase in the use of boda boda as a means of transport in local markets, the firm is at an expansion stage opening outlets in strategic locations regionally.
