Four suspected thugs were last night shot dead in a botched robbery incident in Jam Rescue area, Buruburu, Nairobi and a pistol recovered from them.
Police said they also recovered a BMW car that was stolen by the gang and a 24 inch televison set that was inside the vehicle.
Police said a fifth suspect managed to escape. The car was later driven to the Buruburu and the bodies of the suspects taken to the mortuary.
