Kericho County Commissioner Moses Mbaruku has put on notice suspects who torched a government vehicle after it was involved in a road accident along the Kericho-Kisumu highway.

The Mercedes Benz assigned to the Judiciary was torched at Ngecherorok area last weekend after it was involved in the accident which led to the death of a Boda-Boda rider.

The vehicle was passing through Kericho from Kisumu when the accident occurred.

The Judge and driver escaped with minor injuries. Speaking during the Jamhuri Day celebrations held at Sosiot trading centre in Belgut Constituency, Mbaruku, said security agencies will not rest until the culprits are brought to justice.

“We will not be in charge of a county where people operate with impunity. The incident where a government vehicle was set ablaze will not die just like that. We have to get you,” he vowed.
