The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has vowed to crackdown on motorists making illegal u-turns on the Northern by-pass.
This was after a user shared an image of a motorist caught crossing from one, one-way road to the other, along the northern by-pass.
NTSA was tagged in the Twitter conversation that had users asking that such offenders be arrested and prosecuted.
The user said the habit had become a norm.
The authority said that it would dispatch a team to ensure safety along the by-pass.
When asked to arrest and prosecute the offenders, the authority promised to get it done.
