For the first time the Range Rover has a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox giving smoother driving.
In an analysis of SUVs the Authoritative What Car? Magazine concluded “The Range Rover gives limousine comforts in a powerful SUV that can take you anywhere.”
Talking about the new Range Rover model, Greg Forster, the General Manager of the Jaguar Landrover Kenya division, said, “The new class leading V8 turbo diesel engine coupled with the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and styling enhancements combine to ensure the 2011 Ranger Rover remains the King of the luxury SUV segment.”
He added, “Range Rover engineers have given careful attention to the need to cut fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. Fuel consumption has been improved by 18.5 per cent with a 14 per cent reduction in carbon dioxide and the new engine meets EU5 emission regulations.”om of the Jaguar Landrover Kenya division of the CMC Motors Group.
