Githurai matatu operators have taken to the street to protest the charges against their colleagues in court over the twin blasts that killed three people along Thika Road on Sunday. Operators have parked along the roadside not going to work until their colleagues are freed.
The five including drivers and conductors appeared in the Makadara law courts yesterday accused of failing to prevent a felony namely murder by failing to search passengers boarding their vehicles therefore causing the explosions that also injured over 70 passengers.
