FLYING squad arrest a Ugandan suspected to be behind a car theft syndicate in Kenya

FLYING squad officers yesterday arrested a Ugandan suspected to be behind a car theft syndicate in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

The suspect was arrested after police raided his home at Kiembeni estate in Mombasa. The officers recovered a stolen vehicle and fake number plates.

County CID boss Henry Ondeik said the suspect was arrested in a police trap. He was speaking to journalists at the Coast regional police headquarters.
